Belarusian military busy training together with PMC Wagner, learning new tricks
Military personnel of Belarus' Armed Forces are conducting a training session together with fighters of the private military company (PMC) Wagner in the military training area Brestsky, BelTA has learned. For a week units of Belarusian special operations forces will practice carrying out combat training missions together with PMC Wagner representatives.
Representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry noted that taking into account the current geopolitical situation PMC Wagner's real combat experience represents an opportunity for continuing the Belarusian army's policy in favor of modernization, re-equipment, and prompt adoption of the experience of modern military conflicts into the training program. Upon arrival PMC Wagner representatives found accommodations in the military training area and briefed Belarusian military personnel on what will happen in the course of the forthcoming training session. After that the military personnel were divided into groups and began their studies.
Servicemen of the special operations forces of Belarus are convinced that the real combat experience of PMC Wagner fighters is invaluable. New conditions were introduced in the course of the joint training session taking into account PMC Wagner's participation in the special operation in Ukraine. While talking to reporters, a serviceman of Belarus' special operations forces mentioned that the joint training session covers many aspects: tactics, medicine, and weapon training. “Representatives of the private military company tell us about new tricks every day. We play out various situations. For instance: a moving column under fire or a drone attack,” he said.
